Racial and Background Features
Dwarven Resilience – You have advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against poison damage
Duergar Resilience – You have advantage on saving throws against illusions and against being charmed or paralyzed.
Stonecunning – Whenever you make an Intelligence (History) check related to the origin of stonework, you are considered proficient in the History skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.
Duergar Magic When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the enlarge/reduce spell on yourself once with this trait, using only the spell’s enlarge option. You don’t need material components for either spell, and you can’t cast them while you’re in direct sunlight, a lthough sunlight has no effect on them once cast. You regain the ability to cast these spells with this trait when you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Bio:

Ehrek was a soldier in the city watch of Barak Kuldar. Barak Kuldar was created 159 years ago by five family clans of duergar who recognized they were stronger together than apart. The last elder of that time past away 15 years ago and Barak Kuldar fell to a bloody civil war.
Within 5 years, only a fraction of the citiizens were alive, and those that were came together and agreed on a tentative peace. Part of the peace detailed that each family would go its own way, and not kill each other any more.

His clan was small, only about 20 members, by the time the fighting stopped. His older brother Tehrek, and younger brother Dehrek, his three cousins, plus their aunt made up the leadership of the clan. Ehrek’s father and mother were killed in the clan battles that tore his city apart and in order to survive, Ehrek, his brothers, and cousins became a mercenary band. They became the Blackforge Hammers and sold their skills in the treacherous Underdark. On one such typical expedition, the Hammers were ambushed by filthy drow and even though they were skilled, they were quickly over run. One by one, the hammers fell. Seeing his brothers fall, something dark came over Ehrek. He let out a howl and charged the remaining drow. He swung his battle-axe two handed, forgoing his shield. He hit the drow HARDER, somehow he was able to channel his rage into POWER! and it felt good. He singlehandedly killed the last three drow and then collapsed, exhausted from the exertion. If only it was done. This ambush was not the only contingent of drow in the area, and pretty soon he found another group. It did not go as well for him as the first three drow bolts dropped him into a heap. (And that’s how he came to be a drow prisoner).
